This past weekend, we spent an all-too-short amount of time with our friends Nathan and Erin McDade. They are the kinds of friends we only get to see once a year or so, but with whom it is always perfectly easy to immediately go deep with. They are currently on furlough from the campus ministry they helped start in Puebla, Mexico, called El Pozo. They are effecting change in Mexico in a colossal way among university students, and they are infinitely passionate about it. I have a perhaps inordinate number of college friends who are missionaries in various countries, and while they all seem to be enjoying their jobs, Nate and Erin have an illuminated quality about their faces when they talk about their students and the strides that are being made in Mexico. It thrills me to see them talk about what–and who–they love.

If you’re looking for a place to give money (and you have more than you need, by the way), give to El Pozo through CMF International by clicking here.
